About the film:
"Man In Red Bandana" (PG13; 80 minutes) is a powerful, personal narrative of selflessness, sacrifice and serendipity. Narrated by Gwyneth Paltrow, it depicts the actions of one man and how he has positively affected thousands. Our film is about Welles Crowther, a 9/11 hero who tragically died that day. His heroics became known eight months later due to a simple ordinary object ... a red bandana.
The documentary covers the events that lead up to the "bandana revelation" and how this information dramatically shifted the Crowther family's perspective on its loss and allowed good to come from evil. Viewers will learn how strangers who have been touched by Welles honor him in song, poem, art, sports and religion. Parents throughout the US have even named their children after him. These honors set up the final, perfect ending ... the sharing of a secret about Welles that can best be described as purely inspirational.
