Betrayal at House on the Hill game night benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation
We invite you to experience exploring an old mansion on Friday, the 13th! Join us on a dark October night, under a waning moon, at the house on the hill with a wicked reputation. Enter if you dare. Leave if you're lucky! Festive dress encouraged.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. You'll be welcomed with a reception and silent auction featuring items generously donated by Seattle businesses, including Wizards of the Coast. Grab snacks and mingle with other gaming aficionados (who are likely backstabbing traitors).
As the evening progresses you'll ascend to the Upper Level and discover the Game Room. You'll play the critically-acclaimed board game, Betrayal at House on the Hill with new and old friends. You'll revel in joy and adventure until the sudden, but inevitable, betrayal. It's ok, it's all for a great cause!
Four important things to know:
1. Betrayal on Capitol Hill is for ages 12 and up. No alcohol will be served at the event.
2. You'll want to grab dinner beforehand. We suggest visiting one of the numerous awesome nearby restaurants on Capitol Hill.
3. Parking is not included. The Rainier Chapter House is served by public transportation and is only 0.4 miles from the Capitol Hill Link light rail station. There are also nearby paid parking options or our friends at Lyft can give you a ride.
4. The historic Rainier Chapter House was built during the 1920s. Unfortunately, it's never been retrofitted for wheelchair accessibility. The event happens on three floors, requiring attendees to move up and down stairs. The house doesn't have an elevator or similar features. If you have any questions about accessibility, please call us 312-622-6346. All of us at Rainy City Happenings value inclusivity and we'll do anything possible to be accommodating, understanding the unfortunate limitations of the house itself.
