Rabbi Joe Black Concert
To celebrate the installation of Rabbi Barnett Brickner as the new rabbi at Temple Israel in Alameda, CA, nationally-known Rabbi Joe Black will perform a musical concert on Saturday, February 9, 2013, 8:00 p.m., at Temple Israel. Tickets are $36 adults and $18 for youth under 18. Proceeds benefit Temple Israel.
A full slate of Installation Weekend events is available at www.templeisraelalameda.org. Events include a shabbat dinner, the installation, a Saturday morning torah study, service and kiddush lunch. The weekend concludes on Sunday with a free children's program co-sponsored by the PJ Library.
