Rick Reynolds's "Happiness"
The Marsh San Francisco presents Rick Reynolds's "Happiness." Reynolds's new one-man-show, "Happiness," is his third look back into his troubled past, where - this time around - he tries to uncover the secrets to becoming a truly happy person. It's a heartwarming, heartbreaking, and extremely funny confessional, ("a kind of dysfunctional how-to- guide," as he decribes it) from the man the Los Angeles Times has called "the funniest man in America."
Rick Reynolds's first one-man-show, the ground-breaking "Only The Truth Is Funny," was an instant success, garnering rave reviews, first in San Francisco, then Off-Broadway and in Los Angeles, where he won the prestigious L.A. Theater Critic's Award for his acting. The show spawned a book, a CD, and a 90-minute Showtime spcical, for which Reynolds was nominated for an Emmy for his writing.
