Description
This Time Concerts is pleased to present Ellis Paul in concert at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center in Seattle, WA. Opening the show will be special guest Antje Duvekot.

Please note: The show time has changed to 7:30 pm. Doors will open at 7pm.

Ellis is a critically-acclaimed singer, songwriter, poet and troubadour. The recipient of thirteen Boston Music awards, he has been hailed by The Boston Globe as "a songwriter's songwriter".  His distinctive and engaging vocal style provide the perfect complement to his literate and urbanely romantic lyrics.

Performing Songwriter Magazine writes "Ellis Paul is a master storyteller. He combines the sensibilities of Bob Dylan and Bill Morrissey and delivers it with a passion that sets him apart in the company of a new breed of songwriters."

Ellis' fourteenth and most recent release  is "The Dragonfly Races", a family album of nature and the senses, written for his own kids and full of his wishes for them in the world.

----

Antje Duvekot is a quickly rising start on the Boston music scene, and winner of the prestigious Kerrvile Folk Festival's "Best New Folk Award." In December of 2007, The Bank of America featured Antje's song "Merry Go Round" in a national TV advertising campaign seen by millions, including a Super Bowl audience.

Former Rolling Stone rock critic Dave Marsh says of Antje, "As far as I can tell, she's the whole package. I've had this reaction once in the past 10 years, and that was the first time I heard Patty Griffin. And the reasons are very, very similar: that package of terrific writer and singer, with the instincts to do things right, over and over and over."

Notes
Doors open at 7:00pm.
