Andy Voelker's Free Radicals Trio - PLENTY OF TIX AT THE DOOR AT 745
I'm honored to debut ubiquitous Boston saxman Andy Voelker's new Free Radicals Trio featuring Jef Charland on bass, Luther Gray on drums and special guest James Rohr on piano! Andy has been active on Boston's jazz scene for over 20 years and is among the area's top saxophone voices. He's well known to Boston jazz audiences for his part in such bands as Clear Audience and Gypsy Schaeffer, sideman appearances with many of the area's top players, and for leading a number of jazz jams over the years. He currently hosts a popular late night jam Fridays at Thelonious Monkfish in Cambridge. Andy is also an enthusiastic educator, working with elementary, secondary, and high school individuals and bands.
