Professional standup comedian Bob Greenberg brings the funny and Jordi Magomero, Joe Silkie and Jeff Miller supply the mysteries at a comedy magic show like none other at the August Parlor of Mystery. The show will feature mind-bending close-up magic, spectacular mentalism and side-splitting comedy by award-winning performers. The show takes place at South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst, NY on August 27 at 7PM.
Jordi Magomero started his magic journey in Barcelona, Spain. His magic reflects the traditional Spanish style, which he describes as a "journey" with the spectators. Magomero creates intimate miracles with cards, coins, and balls, many of which are woven into stories. Magomero was awarded 2nd Prize in Close-up at Cabra-Cadabra in 2010 and 1st Prize in Close-up at Decklords in 2007.
Bob Greenberg is a comic, writer, actor, impersonator and clown who has been making people laugh for years. His film and stage credits are plentiful. His impersonations of Jackie Gleason, Lou Costello, Curly Howard and Alfred Hitchcock are dead on. Empty your bladder before the show or prepare for an accident because you will wet yourself laughing when Greenberg takes the stage.
Jeff Miller is a regular at the Parlor of Mystery. He has thrilled Parlor audiences during intermission on many occasions. Once again hell appear in the lobby during intermission to perform some of his amazing close-up magic.
Parlor of Mystery producer and mentalist Joe Silkie will host the show. Silkie is magic creator, consultant, lecturer and graphic artist. He has constructed custom magic props for popular magic television shows and props used by thousands of magicians world-wide. His performances often includes hand-made artifacts that he produces in his studio.
The Parlor of Mysterys home is the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst. Its the perfect place to experience parlor and close-up magic. It is small black box theatre with comfortable tiered seating for 45. The Parlor of Mystery is one of many productions that take place at the South Shore Theatre Experience, which is located at 315 West Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst. The South Shore Theatre Experience is a non- profit organization that produces original works and theatre classics as well as conducting acting classes & workshops.
Parlor of Mystery shows usually take place on the fourth Sunday of every month with different magicians performing different effects.
