"Awareness and love are qualities we can rely on moment        to moment.  They help us find ourselves when we've lost our way.  They protect us during storms...and help us let go of our preconceived notions of how life should be at any given time."
Sharon Salzberg, Real Love: The Art of Mindful Connection

"American has always been defined by how we have responded to crisis.  The founders rallied the colonies in a unified response to a government that no longer cared about the governed. . . . Our citizens knew in a deep way that surviving and thriving are best achieved when individuals, families, and communities work in concert for the betterment of everyone.
Congressman Tim Ryan, Mindful Nation
