Appalachian Food Summit Dinner

Join chef Karl Worley of Biscuit Love and food writer and author Sheri Castle for a celebration of the Appalachian foodways, benefitting the Appalachian Food Summit. Enjoy a family-style meal featuring the classic dishes of the Appalachia with beverages by Blackberry Farm and Reedy Creek Wine. The evening will showcase a conversation about preserving the rich history and unique ingredients of the area, supporting the mission of the Appalachian Food Summit.

The dinner will be held on July 15th at 6:30pm at the Hillsboro Village Biscuit Love, located at 2001 Belcourt Ave. Nashville, TN 37212.

Limited ticket quantities are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

About the Appalachian Food Summit
The Appalachian Food Summit (AFS) is a community of writers, scholars, advocates, restaurateurs, farmers, producers, chefs, and mountain foodways enthusiasts gathered around the table to honor the past and support a sustainable future for Appalachia, its food, and its people. Its mission is to honor the past, celebrate the present, and work for a sustainable future. AFS is currently hosted by Berea College in Berea, KY, with Grow Appalachia as its fiscal sponsorship. Since its inception in 2013, AFS has hosted four regional summits; sub-regional suppers will be hosted across Appalachia by local partners and chefs in 2017, with the next regional summit will take place in 2018 in Southern West Virginia.
