Stardust in the Burbs: Jazz and Pop from Teaneck
The Teaneck Community Chorus winter concert presents "Stardust in the Burbs:Jazz and Pop from Teaneck". The Teaneck area has long been a haven for jazz and pop musicians, both composers and the artists that have made timeless songs famous. The TCC will reprise some of our favorite jazz numbers and introduce new selections, plus special pop songs familiar to us all. A special treat will be the song "I Like Jazz", inspired by the poem "Jazz" by Teaneck high School alumnus Miles Hodges, written by Teaneck's own Loren Daniels. Loren will bring his band to play with us, as well!
