Leland Price is in crisis. A plague of tires rise from the earth, destroying any hope of value left to his home. His son, Paul, passes through on his way to California to cash in on a priceless gun. They settle in for the opening of wounds and test each other's love with their extreme ideas and dangerous beliefs.
