Mulch! Stuy Cove Park Volunteer Day
Hurricane Sandy's storm surge wiped out much of the top soil in Stuy Cove Park and killed many of the plants.
The first step in recreating the park will be to add back new top soil and mulch. We have scheduled a big delivery of mulch coming in time for our Saturday morning volunteer day.
Join us for a fun morning in the dirt! We will be using rakes and shovels and wheelbarrows to move mulch to the places where it is needed.
