The Anniversary
"The play is conceived in cruelty and is very, very funny.... (Harold Hobson, Sunday Times.)
Since the death of her husband, Mum has kept a tight hold on the family business and her three sons, binding them to her with gifts, threats and a ruthless exploitation of their weaknesses.
First performed at the Theatre Royal in Brighton in March 1966, and later adapted for screen in what became one of Bette Daviss most memorable roles, George Lassos The Moon are proud to bring this viciously dark comedy back to the Brighton stage for one night only for its 50th Anniversary.
