After spending last New Year's Eve performing for over 300 friends at "Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill" in Auburn Hills and having a monumental year as a band that included releasing its debut album and performing throughout the Midwest, the band decided to bring the party back to where their heart is, Bay City, Michigan. "2012 was a special year for me and the band, especially with us performing in front of so many fans and releasing a debut album that was so personal to us" Steve Armstrong said, "We consider all of the people who love our music our personal friends and the entire Great Lakes Bay Region means so much to us that we decided to bring the party back home. What better way to celebrate a monumental year for us than to party with our hometown friends & family!"

Steve Armstrong & The 25 Cent Beer Band has made a lot of progress in a short time. After winning the Michigan Idol Competition in 2007, Armstrong put together a powerful lineup of top notch musicians with expertise in different genres of music and began playing in local clubs. People soon began to take note. The band won its first music award in 2009 when The Review Magazine fans voted it the #1 Country Music Band, and their reign has continued for each year through 2012. Never before has a band won this many times, in any genre of music. In addition, each member of the Band won top honors in their individual categories.

In all, the band has won 12 Review music awards, which is another Review Magazine Music Awards record. Their fan base continues to grow as do the crowds at their shows. The bands highly anticipated self-titled debut album was released in mid-June 2012 with resounding success. These guys are at the top of their game and are ready to ring in the New Year with a big BANG!!
