TEDxElliottBayWomen

TEDxWomen, hosted by Pat Mitchell, president and CEO, The Paley Center for Media, has sparked a vibrant ongoing conversation about women and girls worldwide who challenge and redefine the traditional rules and roles ascribed to women and men, girls and boys. The theme of TEDxWomen 2012 is The Space Between, a theme to explore what is in between extremes, to gain the big picture and find the areas where we need more understanding and perhaps compromise. Women know that this is where life happensthe places in between.
On December 1, TEDxWomen 2012 will live stream from The United States Institute of Peace in Washington, DC to the global TEDx community.

TEDxElliottBayWomen in collaboration with TEDxWomen will present a webcast of Sessions 4, 5 and 6 -- The Mirror, Endings and Beginnings, and The Rising -- in the beautiful new auditorium of Bainbridge Island Museum of Art.

TEDxElliottBayWomen will also host a very special handful of guest speakers from Bainbridge Island who will share their transformative stories, wit, warmth and ZEST.
Confirmed guests for the morning session of TEDxElliottBayWomen include Jen Breen on zest, PeaceTrees VietNam founder Jerilyn Brusseau, author and spiritual leader Kim Beyer-Nelson, and the extraordinary teen improv troupe, Thumbs Up!

The day includes lunch and a post event reception.
