The first program of Olympic Chamber Music Fellowship focuses on the music that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed in Vienna during the final ten years of his life. Two of the works were written for Anton Stadler, a Viennese clarinetist who inspired Mozart to write a number of compositions for the instrument. Alexander Fiterstein, winner of the Carl Nielsen International Clarinet Competition, makes his OMF debut.

The passionate folk music of the Hungarian gypsies has influenced generations of composers throughout music history. Hear two of Brahms most popular gypsy-inspired works alongside the music of famed Hungarian composers including Béla Bartóks blazing Contrasts for clarinet, violin, and piano based on folk melodies from Hungary and Romania.
Concerts take place at the Wheeler Theater at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, WA.
Doors open at 1:00 PM and concerts start at 2:00 PM. Visit Taps at the Guardhouse for concessions before the concert and during intermission.
