Jazz, Bites & Sips 2017 Spring Experience
ELLENSBURG, WA - Jazz, Bites & Sips will partner with Gallery One Visual Arts Center to present their 2017 Spring Experience on Friday, April 28 at 8:00 PM. Under the leadership of host Lenny Price since 2013, JBS is proud to welcome guests to the 17th installment of this community-based entertainment series.
Ellensburg Big Band is a full-size stage band comprised of 18 to 20 Kittitas County residents. The instrumentation generally consists of five saxophones (two altos, two tenors, and one baritone), five trumpets, four trombones and a four-piece rhythm section (composed of drums, bass, piano and guitar). Dance instructor Chris Peterson of Yakima, who has worked extensively with the CWU Swing Cats over the years, will teach a brief swing dance lesson before the performance for beginners. www.ellensburgbigband.com
