Is basketball is the ultimate Jewish sport? The owners and managers certainly were. But what about the players and promoters? According to this documentary, it seems everybody was Jewish! The first NBA points were scored by guess who?: Jewish power-forward Ossie Schectman on November 1, 1946 as the New York Knicks beat the Toronto Huskies.
