Event
Drums of Fire
This Portland Rose Festival Sanctioned Event and sponsored by RE/MAX equity group, is one of more than 100 Drum Corps International Summer Tour events across the United States.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Oregon Crusaders, Medical Teams International.
Drawing upon some of the finest competitive drum and bugle corps in the world, the show will feature the following groups:
Blue Devils - Concord, California
Oregon Crusaders - Portland, Oregon
Blue Knights - Denver, CO
Cascades - Seattle Washington
Columbians - Pasco, Washington
The Battalion - Salt Lake City, Utah
Golden Empire - Bakersfield, California
Each group or "corps", will perform their 10 - 12 minute custom designed show and compete for top honors. Corps will be evaluated in the areas of brass, percussion, visual, and overall effect.
There will be one intermission.
