UNDERCURRENTS is an entrance into the private lives of Rhonda and Thomas. Rhonda, a successful businesswoman, exposes the painful struggle of balancing wealth with extreme solitude, during an unexpected day off from the office. Thomas, a once stable-minded man, is caught in a dark midst of reoccurring voices in his head.
Written and directed by Dayna Moses, UNDERCURRENTS blurs the line between what is seen and unseen. Through Rhonda and Thomas' stories, conflicts arise when that line becomes clear. This solo performance by Moses adds dimension to the solitude in which Rhonda and Thomas experience.
Dayna Moses is a writer, filmmaker, and video artist. Her work has been exhibited in various film screenings, galleries, and festivals across the globe.
