SongFusion Gala Concert and Catered Reception

SONGFUSION cordially invites you to an Evening of Song and Spirit!

On Friday November 30th, SongFusion is hosting a very special gala event at a stunning Tribeca residence.
We are delighted to be able to invite you to this magnificent penthouse space for a champagne toast and an hour-long concert followed by a catered reception.

Only once a season, during the Annual Gala do you get to hear a tremendously exciting collision of all the many colorfully ambitious projects SongFusion has to offer.

Ever wondered what Debussy's music and John Singer Sargent's paintings have in common? Want to hear us team up for the very first time with a jazz pianist? The exceptionally talented John Chin, alumn of Juilliard's exclusive Artist Diploma Jazz Quintet, premieres his arrangement of John Harbison's "After Hours" with soprano Mary Mackenzie.

Our new member, mezzo-soprano Naomi O'Connell, makes her programming debut in an exploration of fellow Irishman James Joyce's complex relationship with music for which we welcome back actor Clancy O'Connor (HBO "John Adams," "Law and Order," and "Smash").

From Houston, our second new member, tenor Brenton Ryan, brings the NY Premiere of a new arrangement of Shenandoah. Also on the program, a moving selection of songs by NY composers about gay life in NY from our upcoming program NY NOW! Gay Words/Gay Music.
