The Art of Resistance Series: Immigration Policy Date: Saturday, March 18, 2:00 5:00 PM!
Walden Center & School is sponsoring an afternoon of information and action with guest speakers from the community and an hour of action: postcard brainstorm and writing as a group, or an art project led by Walden art teacher, Susana Aragón.
Speakers:
Anneka Citrin, LCSW, and Walden alumna. Anneka works as a bilingual mental health therapist at Familias Unidas in Richmond.
Sister Maureen Duignan, Executive Director of the East Bay Sanctuary Covenant. Sister Maureen has worked with EBSC since 1984.
The art project for this event will be T-shirt printing and is available as a choice to the first 12 sign-ups due to limited space and supplies. T-shirt printers need to bring their own cotton T-shirt. Please be sure you choose the ticket option with art as your action when you RSVP.
Childcare will be provided, please indicate your childcare needs when signing up.
