Stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., it is one of six musical ensembles that comprise The U.S. Air Force Band. Created in 1950 to continue the tradition of Major Glenn Miller's Army Air Corps dance band, the current band consists of 18 active duty Airmen musicians including one vocalist.
Admission is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are required until 7:15 p.m. and ticket-holders should be seated by 7:15 p.m.
Those who do not have tickets should arrive at 7:15 p.m. All unfilled seats will be released at that time.
No bags or backpacks will be allowed inside the Fine Arts Auditorium.
