The life and times of legendary writer Zora Neale Hurston take center stage in Zora! Let The People Sing! at Atlanta's Southwest Arts Center. This bio-play shines the spotlight on a woman who's now lauded as an intellectual and spiritual foremother to a generation of African-American women and writers.
Watch as she transforms herself from a small-town Florida girl to an icon of the Harlem Renaissance in this production filled with poetry, songs and folktales. Along with such friends as Langston Hughes, Countee Cullen and Wallace Thurman, you'll see Zora stake her claim as a fixture of this pivotal period in history.
