American Extremes: Louis Moreau Institute
The Louis Moreau Institute Presents American Extremes: Contemporary Chamber Music by Steve Reich and Mario Davidovsky performed by the LMI Institute Artists - The Louies American Extremes, presented by the Louis Moreau Institute for New Music Performance, New Orleans, features Steve Reichs Grammy Award-winning Different Trains, the New Orleans premiere of Mario Davidovskys Quartetto No. 3, Esa-Pekka Salonens Concert Étude for Horn in F, and an improvisation based off a NOLA favorite tune. This evening of chamber music will showcase dynamic performances by the 2017 Ensemble Artists of the LMI The Louies: The Ulysses Quartet, members Christina Bouey, violin, Rhiannon Banerdt, violin, Colin Brookes, viola, and Grace Ho, cello with Adrian Blanco, piano and Russell Rybicki, horn. $20/$10 Students and seniors.
