In this dramatic adaptation of her award-winning, bestselling memoir (which The New York Times called "an indelible portrait of loss and grief"), Joan Didion transforms the story of the sudden and unexpected loss of her husband and their only daughter into a stunning and powerful one-woman play.
"The Year of Magical Thinking" debuted on Broadway in 2007 on Broadway starring Vanessa Redgrave.
The play will be performed in Waukegan, Illinois at Urban Edge, Lake County's newest and hippest multi-art space.
Performances are as follows:
Thursday, January 24, 8:00 pm, Friday January 25, 8:00 pm
Saturday, January 26, 8:00 pm, Sunday, January 27, 2:30 pm
