On the Rocks: The Unsolved Mysteries of Jack and Sal
ON THE ROCKS: The Unsolved Mysteries of Jack and Sal is an original full-length stage noir comedy. Starting as a late-night Cabaret serial with over 30 "episodes" at Hofstra University on Long Island, this irrev- erent, over-the-top, and often emotional stage production is at once ripping parody and loving homage to the detective genre.
Chicago, 1922. Jack Bullet is a miserable, disgusting, and rude private detective. Against his will, he gets part- nered up with Sal Malone, a jolly, pleasant, and all-around swell guy. They start taking cases, and a friendship slowly begins to develop over the course of truly outrageous murder, romance and mystery.
