Description
What Would Woody Do?

Where songwriting meets social conscience

Join us February 23rd at 6:30 until 9:30 at the Lucky Brewgrille, 5401 Johnson Drive in Mission for a WWWD fundraiser for local community organizations.  Portions of the ticket sales will go to KKFI Community Radio, Cross Currents Culture, and Democracy For the Heart of America (DFHA).  We will also be encouraging contributions of time and money to local progressive candidates.  Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

About WWWD:
Woody Guthrie wrote many social conscience and activst songs, and if he were alive today, he would certainly have plenty of material.  Woody would stand up with the workers.  Woody would work for peace and justice.  Woody would fight against the Corporatists.  Woody would want us all to do what's right.

What Would Woody Do? (WWWD) is a way for local songwriters to have their activist songs heard, and for local activists to hear new songs of social conscience,
like Woody would write if he were still alive today.

WWWD has been approved by the Woody Guthrie Foundation

About the WWWD Players:
The WWWD Players are a group of local songwriters who write songs with a social conscience.  They'll make you laugh, cry, tap your feet, clap your hands, sing along, and if they do their job right, they will inspire you to go out and make the world a better place.

Woody would be proud of these singer songwriters.  Please get out to see these players whenever and wherever they play.

WWWD is Sponsored by Democracy For the Heart of America  at http://dfha.org
