Dragon Feathers
Alejandro seeks to win the hand of the lovely Isabella, but must pluck three golden feathers from the dragon, who lives in a castle in faraway Senegal. He travels through his native country of Spain, through Portugal, Morocco, along the Mediterranean, to Senegal, where he encounters the Dragon and his human wife. Along the way, he encounters many people with sad tales, and wonderful native dances. Larry McKenzie adapted this Bavarian folktale; Judy Cooper Lyle co-directs; Penny Masuku co-directs and choreographs this delightful story for young people and their families.
