Two acclaimed musicians join forces to present a program featuring: STRAVINSKY'S - Suite Italienne, SCULTHORPE's - from Saibai, SAINT-SAENS' - Havanaise and BEETHOVEN'S "Kreutzer" Sonata.
BENJAMIN BREEN is a violinist who's passionate performances and vibrant, golden sound have received acclaim world-wide. He made his New York recital debut at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in 1993. He has since toured in Australia, Europe, the United States and Japan, receiving critical praise both as soloist with orchestra, in recital and as chamber musician and recording artist.
MIRIAN CONTI enjoys a reputation as a musician whose performances combine technical brilliance with striking originality and artistic insight. Stylistically assured in a wide range of repertoire, Ms. Conti is considered a leading exponant of Spanish music. Her recordings of Contemporary scores for KOCH and ALBANY have garnered enthusiastic critical praise. |
