Join the Rev. Elizabeth Ann Jefferson, anointed psalmist, poet and pastor for an evening of celebration in concert and praise. She is bringing together vocalists and musicians from throughout the Bay Area, and featuring the newly-formed MASS choir.
Rev. Ann is a noted teacher of the history of African-American sacred music and has taught numerous seminars in congregational, seminary and conference settings. She was a key planner of the African American hymn festival of the Hymn Society of the U.S. and Canada in 2008, and has facilitated workshops on African American Women Hymn and Gospel pioneers. She received a Heritage Keepers Award from the Bay Area's own Friends of the Negro Spiritual.
Rev. Ann is a 32 year resident of the Bay area and currently serves as a Continuing Education Program Coordinator at the Pacific School of Religion and as an associate Pastor of City of Refuge UCC in San Francisco.
She'll be joined at this "Love Beyond Margins" event by several esteemed Guest musicians and directors including:

-Min. Abdul Hamid Robinson-Royal, Los Angeles, CA anointed musician, composer, religious and intercultural scholar, artistic director on and off Broadway
-Min. Charlene Moore, Antioch, CA Minister of Music, City of Refuge UCC, gifted composer, musician and singer; owner of Committed Records, LLC
-Bro. Eric Hayslett, San Jose, CA - SF Bay-Area Artist, Artist Instructor, Multi-Instrumentalist, Singer/Songwriter, Publisher, Studio Owner - Music Director, Genesis United Methodist Church, Producer Recording Engineer e2music San Jose, CA
-Min. Patrisha Gill, Sacramento, CA - In 1990, Patrisha's composition, "Solid Rock" was recorded on the Grammy nominated CD entitled, Love Alive IV, featuring Rev. Walter Hawkins and the Love Center Choir.
