Daydreamer begins the way any other romantic drama could; in a bar, as a young man catches the eye of a pretty girl. The two get to talking and it becomes instantly obvious that, well, for lack of a better phraseshe is too good for him. Something about him intrigues her though and they end up returning to her house to continue their night between the sheets. After the girl (Arielle Kebbel) falls asleep, we watch as the hero of the film, Clinton, (Aaron Paul) decides to steal money and jewelry from her dresser, before returning to his own grimy apartment and passing out. It is at this point that the story truly begins.
