Tunes & Ties: An Evening of Music to Benefit YouthQuest

Tunes & Ties is the official Flint kickoff for SPRINT 4 FLINT: RIDE, SWIM, PLAY, GIVE, a year-long partnership between the YouthQuest Afterschool Initiative and Mr. B's Joybox Express, created by Flint native and internationally acclaimed pianist, Mark Braun.

Please join us February 24 at 6 p.m. for hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and a private concert with Mark Braun to kick off this amazing campaign.

Sprint 4 Flint is a unique fundraising campaign featuring a 600-pound piano bike and a multi-phase feat of athleticism to raise funds and awareness for the YouthQuest Afterschool Initiative. Sprint 4 Flint will begin with a 24-hour, around-the-clock sprint that takes the piano bike from Flint to Mackinac City (a trip of more than 225 miles)! The piano bike will then be loaded on a barge and swam across the Straits of Mackinac by Mr. Braun and world-record holding swimmer, Jim Dreyer. The finale will be a concert played by Mr. B himself at the Grand Hotel's Labor Day Jazz Festival.
