Autism - The Musical 2/28
In 1980, Autism was a relatively rare disorder, afflicting 1 in every 10,000 children in the United States. In 2007, that figure had risen to 1 in every 150. Following five Los Angeles children over the course of six months, director Trisha Regan captures the struggles and triumphs of their daily family lives. By allowing these children to write, rehearse and perform in their own full-length musical, the movie celebrates the joy and hard work these children put forth while exploring their creative side.
