OVER THERE: Comedy is His Best Weapon
Touring comedian & former U.S. service member PJ Walsh returns for a special "One Afternoon Only" performance of his 2011 "Best of Hollywood & San Francisco Fringe Festival" telling of his true life Forrest Gumpish journey.
OVER THERE: Comedy Is His Best Weapon illustrates the hardship and hilarity of PJ Walsh's journey. As a screw-up kid, Walsh enlists in 1990 never expecting to go to war. After three wars, a stint as Bill Clinton's dental technician, and a career in stand-up comedy alongside the stars of The Blue Collar Comedy Tour, Walsh discovers what really matters in life when he returns to war no longer as a service man, but a comedian, and finds himself facing mortality in the belly of a C-130 plane over Afghanistan.
