Inside the Cup
The Cosmos Coffee Cup a.k.a. the "Cup"; the world's most popular coffee shop, has just celebrated its thirtieth anniversary. Known for delivering "coffee that is out of this world," the company could not have built its success had it not been for its state of the art stores around the world, and for the first-rate customer service of its employees. Now, for the first time, we get to go behind the closed doors of the Cup, and get a first-hand account of what it's really like to work there.
Inside the Cup is a one-person show in two acts written and performed by Aaron Pitre. It is a story of human life told through nine fascinating characters and their experiences in working for the Cosmos Coffee Cup: the world's most famous coffee shop.
Each character has an intriguing story to tell. The stories are funny, touching, heart-felt, and most of all thought provoking. Through these nine characters, one is given the opportunity to explore the many labels and "hats" we wear in life, as well as the many challenges we deal with as human beings. 'Inside the Cup' is meant to remind you that you never know who is serving you coffee at your local coffee shop, that there is always more than meets the eye to any person, and that deep down inside ourselves, we are all more alike than we are different.
