On Nov. 10th, 4 days after President Obama make history by being the first African-American to be elected to a second term as President, Destiny will be making history by holding it's first gala/fund raiser for Destiny Leadership Academy (the first all-boys, faith-based, private academy located in the inner city of Pgh). The event will last from 5:00-8:00 PM and there will be performances by the all male Gospel group Artistry. There will be the incredible Christian Rapper Nahledge and various soloist from other churches. Our dance team, David's Dance Team will be performing as well as a Mime team. State. Rep. Ed Gainey, Savoy owner Chuck Sanders, and NFL Hall of Famer Curtis Martin will also be in attendance. Tickets are only $20.00 because we want the community to be able to afford this event. There is limited seating. The greatest of all guest Himself will also be in the house and it is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (let the Church say amen!) C'mon and be a part of history.
