Improvaganza Presents: Confidence Men, Mike Brown's Solo Improv Extravaganza, Homewreckers

This performance a part of the 7th Annual Improvaganza! 2012 Hawaii Festival of Improv. Improvaganza is Hawaii's only festival dedicated to improv comedy and improvised theatre.
The ARTS at Marks Garage is located at 1159 Nuuanu Ave on the corner of Pauahi and Nuuanu, one block south of Beretania Street.

CONFIDENCE MEN: Confidence Men; Improvised Mamet will perform an improvised two-act David Mamet play. Using the legendary American playwright's unique way with language, which includes rapid-fire dialogue, unfinished sentences, meaningful pauses, and raucous cursing, Confidence Men elevate Mamet's style and make it their own
MIKE BROWN SOLO IMPROV EXTRAVAGANZA, Mike Brown has appeared on such shows as Gossip Girl, Law & Order, Cupid, and Mercy; and has performed in the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, the Del Close Marathon and the Toronto Improv Festival. Mike Brown brings his one man improv show Mike Brown Solo Improv Extravaganza to this years Improvaganza. The show is pretty any other improv troupe that you'll see with one exception: the show is completely improvised by one person, which means that all characters discovered in the scene are portrayed through the eyes of one improviser.
HOMEWRECKERS: The Homewreckers have been wrecking homes on improv stages since January of 2011. An audience suggestion starts the show and an activity which inspires the team's unique opening. What ensues over the next two dozen minutes is a high energy, briskly physical, no-holds-barred exploration of relationships, ideas, and philosophies based on that suggestion and the initial stage picture. In other words, a creative (and hopefully hilarious) train-of-thought wreck!
