MARIN ORATORIO Performs Elijah by Felix Mendelssohn
MARIN ORATORIO Directed by Boyd Jarrell
From the mountain's summit, through whirlwinds and fire, to the still small voice, MARIN ORATORIO presents Mendelssohn's glorious choral masterpiece ELIJAH. Follow the epic trail of the wayward Israelites through drought, famine, idolatry, intrigue, and finally redemption. The 100-voice Marin Oratorio chorus and orchestra will be joined by young New Zealand baritone Hadleigh Adams in the title role. One of international opera's rising stars, Adams' darkly resonant voice and dynamic stage presence have thrilled audiences in concert halls and opera houses alike. Sharing the stage will be acclaimed vocal soloists Claire Kelm, Heidi Waterman, and Andrew Tetzger.
