Speaker Series: Into the Karakoram
Scott Bennett and Graham Zimmerman have been climbing together for years, from dirtbagging in Yosemite to helicoptering into remote Alaska ranges. With their sights set on the truly big mountains, they enlist the help and mentorship of Steve Swenson, who is perhaps the most successful American alpinist of his generation. On what Steve says might be his final big expedition, the team sets out for Pakistan with massive unclimbed objectives, and the goal of passing the torch of exploratory climbing from one generation to the next.
