In a desperate bid to escape a contracted marriage, three sisters sail to Italy from Greece and become refugees. As their pursuers close in, they and their hosts must face a crisis of law and conscience. A modern adaptation of one of the oldest plays of the western world, The Danaids by Aeschylus, Big Love is a story of love, murder, and everything in beween.
