WMRC: Rhythm & Soul 2016

Join us for our 11th anniversary benefit and celebration for Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls on Friday, December 2nd 2016 at Roulette in downtown, Brooklyn for specialty cocktails, hors doeuvres, dancing, raffles, and prizes all in support of our amazing arts initiatives and our young rockers! This is our largest fundraising event of the year and all proceeds benefit our Fairness Fund, which gives our campers from low-income communities access to the organizations music programs, regardless of household income.

Kathleen Hanna, feminist powerhouse musician and artist, is our honorary event chair, and we will feature the following honorees from the entertainment and music industry:

Jessica Pimentel - Actor & Musician Orange Is The New Black
Lynn Gonzalez - Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, Def Jam Recordings
Felice Ecker & Vicki Starr - Co-Owners of Girlie Action Media.
