2013 Neddy Awardee Matthew Offenbacher's "The Experience Painting Project," a painting workshop in tribute to the late Seattle painter and community-leader/educator, Ned Behnke, the Neddy Artist Award's namesake.
Known for his unpretentious yet sage paintings, drawings, ceramics, and community-based projects, Offenbacher will lead participants through a series of short kinaesthetic exercises designed to give them a taste of some current issues and questions in painting, as well as to experience the pleasure of moving paint around on a large surface, mixing colors, working on things with others, and so on.
Wear paint-friendly clothing.
Ages 7 and up (under 13 accompanied by an adult). No infants or toddlers.
Limited to 20 participants.
