Tucson Roller Derby is back in action for our 10th consecutive season! Come join us as two of the talented Tucson home teams battle it out in a single-header bout sure to thrill! The Furious Truckstop Waitresses will be serving up some hash and smash to the ladies in blue. Meanwhile, the Vice Squad will be serving up a little something of their own, the long arm of the derby law, to the ladies in pink. There is sure to be some stellar action as these two heavy-hitting teams slug it out to see who will earn the first victory at the new TRD Wreckhouse! You won't want to miss this historic event!
Our featured charity for the month will be the Tucson Community Food Bank. Bring 3 canned or boxed food items to donate and get 1 beer/drink ticket to use at the bout (limit 1 ticket per person)! TRD will also be participating in the Food Bank's Hunger Walk on the morning of Saturday, September 29 at 9 AM. Come walk/skate with us at the Sam Lena Park near Ajo and Country Club. You need to be registered by September 26 if you want to be affiliated with TRD for the Walk, so email us before then at charities@tucsonrollerderby.com! Otherwise, you can register yourself up until 4 PM on September 28.
