Tower Thunder

A work commissioned by artist in residence Tony Zilincik for the Oliver Ranch Foundation. Performed by the Tower Thunder Ensemble and Healdsburg High School Band Concert Players.  Proceeds benefit the Healdsburg Education Foundation, which supports music education in the Healdsburg Public Schools.  This performance is one of only two performances of Tower Thunder at the Ann Hamilton Tower on Oliver Ranch.

The Tower Thunder event is held at Oliver Ranch, a no cars environment.  Thus, attendees will meet at the Remmel Road Park & Ride Lot in Geyserville at 3:00.  A bus will leave at 3:15 to shuttle patrons to the event.  The event begins at 4:00 SHARP.  The concert will conclude at 5:30 and the shuttle bus will bring attendees back to the Remmell Road Park & Ride Lot following the event.  

Concert attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes as the walk to the tower takes about 10 minutes.  

The Ann Hamilton Tower is a unique, acoustic environment and new type of entertainment space.  Oliver Ranch is an "Invitation Only" art destination considered one fot he world's most respected and exclusive cultural destinations known for its collection of commissioned sculptures.

This concert is sponsored by the Oliver Ranch Foundation in cooperation with the Sonoma County Community Foundation.
