GRINGOS AT THE GATE - With short A MOST IMPROBABLE LIFE
"Gringos at the Gate" is a feature documentary looking at the United States-Mexican divide through the prism of the two countries' national soccer rivalry. The film goes beyond the history of the competition to explore how it shadows both the historic and current social and political relationship between these two nations. Over the last three years the filmmakers interviewed former players and coaches, academics, fans and analysts on both sides of the border to give an in-depth look at the world's most unique soccer rivalry.
"A Most Improbable Life" is a short that documents the journey of one soccer player who travels from Mexico to find a spot with Seattle Sounders.
