Wet Willie, Bad Brad and The Sipsey Slims, Tuscaloosa, Bama Theatre
The Alabama Blues Project is a non profit organization that teaches and mentors kids through roots music with a strong emphasis on at risk kids. Operation Get down is the name of the benefit concert series who's goal is to help raise money for this worthy cause. Operation get down presents Wet Willie and Bad Brad and The Sipsey Slims for the historic first show which takes place on Friday, September 7th in the Bama Theatre in downtown Tuscaloosa Alabama. This is an all ages event. The start time for the show will be 8:30 p.m. There will be a raffle for a guitar signed by the members of Wet Willie as well as an autographed copy of one of Wet Willies Albums. Proceeds will go towards helping the children of the Alabama Blues Project. The Theatre has a full bar. This takes place on the Friday night before Alabama plays Western Kentucky in Tuscaloosa. The drought is over, Wet Willie is coming to town!
