KERRY AND ANGIE - 11 Minutes
A character-driven short comedic film based on the award winning play by the same title.  Two best friends attend a christening where one of them is having a spiritual and moral crisis. It is a comedy of the depressed helping the depressed.  Angie is outrageously inappropriate at the christening defending her out of control sexual escapades with younger men while Kerry, her equally depressed friend, tries to hide her embarrassment at Angie's behavior.  This script delivers relentless laughs as two long time friends try to lend each other a helping hand.

Exit Elena - Dir. Nathan Silver
Length: 72 minutes

Synopsis: With no place to call home, 19-year-old Elena takes a job as a live-in aide. She finds herself thrust into the middle of a family in crisis: all the things that go on between a father, grandmother, mother, and cat. Eventually, Elena strikes something of a balance though... That is, until the prodigal son returns home. Placing fictional characters alongside real people, Exit Elena is shot through with all the rough edges inherent to family life and the home movie form  in short, it's a dark comedy.
Bio: Nathan lamented being born in the 20th century until he saw his first Buñuel movie. If he couldn't be a 19th century French poet, he could at least be a 21st century American filmmaker. And so he got his pile of French poems together and submitted them to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and was accepted into the Dramatic Writing Program. He graduated with honors in 2005. Since then, he has written and directed three feature films and four short films. Nathan's short, Anecdote, premiered at Slamdance Film Festival 2008. His first feature, The Blind, premiered at the Torino Film Festival in 2009 and had its North American premiere at Cinequest 2011. His second feature, Exit Elena, had its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2012. His third feature, Soft in the Head, is currently in post-production.
