Rock & Roll for Reading
The Mountain View Library Foundation is hosting its first-ever Rock & Roll for Reading" fundraiser at Shoreline Amphitheatre on Saturday, March 15, 2008. This event will be held in conjunction with the grand re-opening of the Mountain View Library as well as a kickoff to the Foundations endowment.
Want to see what its like to be a Rock Star? Business and community members from around the Bay Area will have a night to remember as they dance the night away ON the main stage. Shoreline Amphitheatre will transform the same main stage that hundreds of A-List artists have performed on over the past 20 years in music history into a festive party locale with award winning Bay Area music group, the Joe Sharino Band, performing for the crowd.
And if thats not enough, you can party BACKSTAGE as a Rock & Roll for Reading VIP! Come early to the pre-party for complimentary beer, wine and signature cocktails with heavy appetizers from local restaurants. Have first dibs at the silent auction with some amazing items with all proceeds benefiting the Mountain View Library Foundation.
General Admission Tickets - $40
7:30pm-11:00pm:
Party ON STAGE with the Joe Sharino Band with snacks, professional photographer, a silent auction & a live auction
Reading VIP Tickets - $75
6:00-7:30 pre-party, then on stage party fro 7:30-11pm:
Includes everything a GA ticket includes - PLUS a pre-party BACKSTAGE with complimentary beer, wine & signature cocktails plus heavy appetizers from local restaurants
This event will be held in conjunction with the grand re-opening of the Mountain View Library as well as a kickoff to the Foundations Endowment.
This event will be held rain or shine, with no refunds - as the dancing and open areas will be covered by tents if it does rain.
The Mountain View Library Foundation provides funding to enhance the information center for its diverse community, providing a dynamic place to share resources and ideas, to find joy in reading at all ages, and to experience the power of lifelong learning. The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and was established in 1996, Tax ID #77-0422930.
Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
