Every choral composer of every musical period and genre goes in search of just the right text, the most beautiful and suitable lyrics on which to build an inspirational song. It is the partnership of both the lyrics and the music that speak to the human heart. This March performance will feature choral poems that have spoken to our choristers, sometimes fun, happy, lovely, joy-filled and sometimes powerful, addressing the realities of life, loss, human experience, the rough parts of the journey.
